Freedom Baptist exists to exalt Jesus Christ.  It is a place where people can find friendships and love, where lives are established upon the truths and promises of God’s Word, and a place where you can find encouragement and support with a church family that cares. This has truly become a place where hearts are touched and changed.

Thank you for taking the time to visit our website. It is our desire that this website be informative for you as you look into our church. If you have never been to Freedom Baptist Church I hope that you will browse through the various pages provided on this site, so you can get to know us a little bit better.

This website will give you a close-up glimpse of Freedom Baptist and hopefully a guide to the many ways our church can serve you and to the many ways you can serve the Lord and others in this place. As you view these pages, we hope you will understand our purpose, sense our love, and capture our vision for serving the people of this region and for introducing them to Jesus Christ in a church founded upon the unchanging truths of the Bible.

As there is no way to really capture the spirit of our church in written words, we would love for you to come and be our guest for one of our church services. I believe that if you come you will see what many have come to know to be true of Freedom Baptist. It is a unique church, serving an amazing Savior, with a family feel. It is our goal that we glorify God and reach out to others. We hope that we will get the opportunity to reach out to you.

What are your church services like?

Visiting a church for the first time can be intimidating. At Freedom you will find regular, friendly folks. The people at our church will go out of their way to help you feel at home. Greeters are located at the front entrance and will be happy to answer your questions and direct you to where you need to go.

Our church services consist of a blend of traditional hymns and worship choruses. Practical, relevant, challenging, Bible preaching is brought by our pastor during every service.

How long are the services?

Our Sunday school classes are about 45 minutes long. Sunday worship service times vary although normally they run about 60-75 minutes. Wednesday nights are normally about 90 minutes to give time for our teen and children’s programs. We know that time is limited, so our services are organized to get the most possible out of the allotted time. We promise not to waste time.

Is child care available?

Our Pre-school Ministry is a nurturing place where caring adults show children God’s love in a friendly, clean, and safe environment.

Children, birth through age 4 are assigned to preschool rooms based on their date of birth. They are loved and cared for in their classroom allowing their parents to attend Bible Study and the Church Services without worry or concern.

What is the typical attire?

There is not a strict dress code to attend our church services. We’re more concerned with meeting your needs than focusing on what you wear. Many of our church members wear their “Sunday best.” However, we only ask that you be modest and appropriate in what you choose to wear to church.

Our Pastor preaches from the King James Version. We believe it to be God’s Word.
There’s something for every member of the family from preschool to senior adults. At Freedom Baptist you’ll find Bible study groups, special events, and more designed just for you. You can get involved in recreation, community outreach, missions and evangelism. Plus you’ll find special events throughout the year including church wide fellowships, men and ladies activities, children’s activities and church wide trips to places like San Diego during the hot summers. All of this is designed to help you grow spiritually, fellowship with friends, and reach out to others. For more information on what Freedom Baptist has to offer your family, take a minute and browse our website.
We recommend that you arrive 10 minutes prior to the beginning of the event you are attending so you can park and find a seat.
Our music includes a blend of traditional hymns and spiritual songs and modern worship choruses.
Children are important at Freedom! While mom and dad attend the adult Bible Study and Church Service, the kids are in special programs designed just for them with caring teachers who show them Jesus’ love.

A clean nursery with well-trained staff is available for preschoolers during all services. Nursery 1 is for bed babies and Nursery 2 is for 18 months – 3 year olds.

Children in kindergarten through sixth grade enjoy their own Bible Study Group at 10:00a.m.

Children 4 years and up join mom and dad for the first part of the 11a.m. church service for about 15 minutes. Then, they are dismissed and escorted to the Education Building where they will enjoy songs, puppets, and Bible stories in Junior Church. Children in grades 4 and up attend the Church Service with their parents.

When you arrive at Freedom, greeters at the door will be happy to help you locate the appropriate classes and activities for your children.

Requirements:

We believe that the only requirements for church membership are salvation and baptism by immersion.
A person may join from another Baptist church by transfer.

Persons wishing to join from a church other than a Baptist church must give testimony of their salvation and their immersion baptism and thereby join by Christian experience.

A person wishing to join Freedom Baptist church, be baptized or desire to learn more about Freedom should indicate their desire on a “Connection Card” that can be found in the weekly bulletin. The Connection Card may be turned in via an offering plate or the tray on the office door. A pastor will be in contact with you about your decision or question.
